If you have installed Google Software (Chrome web browser, Google Desktop, or Picasa), you might have noticed about a new process “GoogleUpdate.exe” runs in background. Even if you end task of this process using Task Manager or third party program, it automatically comes back after a few minutes or when you launch Chrome web browser, Google Desktop, or Picasa next time.
Actually its will not give you big problem, Its a standalone exe file which is used by Google to check for new updates. If there is any update available, it downloads and installs it. But its very annoying if you are using volume based or low internet connection. It will make you consume your bandwidth and make your internet connection become low because of the process.
So how to remove the process and not just stop it

Google Chrome Web Browser is a new player on web browser software compare with the other popular web browser. Like another popular web browser, Chrome is free and claim as the fastest browser on the earth. Like Google web interface, Chrome web browser come with simply interface. There is not many icon on the toolbar. You are only seeing what you should see. It also build with nice feature that maybe you will not find on another web browser that has released before Google release Chrome web browser.

Google has been added new feature on homepage that is called Change background image. For some people who love Google because the simple design this feature is useless. Maybe you don’t want to see this feature and let Google homepage clean. As of now, there is no direct way to remove background image feature – however, you can explore following workarounds.

Google now has sidebar (navigation bar) at the left side of the search page. This sidebar provides some additional information according to your keywords. For example News, Blog, Videos, Books, Updates and Discussions. I think this feature is very useful. It can help you navigate to any category during searching on Google. But, if you don’t like it you can disable Google sidebar.

To celebrate PAC-MAN’s 30th birthday, Google offer Pac-Man game on their homepage. Google change their logo with Pac-Man game and change Lucky Me button to insert coin. It’s so wonderful because we can play with Google. This is Google’s first-ever playable Google doodle.

Today, almost popular browsers on this earth offer private (incognito) windows (tab) to open website. In private (incognito), your browser activity within the windows (tabs) is private. All histories, usernames, passwords, cookies, and another datas will be deleted when you close the tabs or windows. It means you don’t need to clear all browser activity manually after you browse sites. Private (Incognito) is useful when you online from public computer like internet cafe, office, campus or school laboratory.

Google Chrome is browser from Google which give us simple interface, easy to be understood, faster on loading program and web, and also safe to open website. The stable version is Google Chrome 4 but Google also prepare new next version which call Google Chrome 5 Beta. Like another Google Chrome version, you need to connect internet to install the latest version (not stable) in your computer. But don’t worries, like previous version, you still can get full offline installer.
Install Google Chrome using offline installer is easier then online installer. You can install on every computer without depand on internet connection.

Gmail is an innovation of web based email. I believe Gmail is the first free web based email which give mailbox capacity over 1 GB for each account. Compare with Yahoo! just gave 4 MB that gave or hotmail that only give 2 MB. Gmail says that you don’t need to delete your messages.
Gmail also offers improve anti spam email, search and filter function. Sometimes I still got spam on my Yahoo! Mail inbox but not in Gmail. All messages that was detected as spam will comes to spam label and remove from inbox. Gmail introduce label and archive to organize your messages instead folder.
